ISA's Organizational Structure
The ISA is governed by the Board, Graduate and Undergraduate Councils.
The Councils have the ultimate authority over the organization as a whole but the board has few internal administration jurisdictions. However, the councils are the highest decision-making bodies in the ISA.
The Board consists of President, Graduate Chancellor, Undergraduate Chancellor and 7 Vice Presidents as the voting members along with Manager and two SGO's as support members.
The Undergraduate Council consist of 21 members and the Graduate Council consists of 19 members based on the international students' proportion in the University Faculites. Both the councils operate independently and the Board is the connecting body between the councils.
The Board members and the council members are elected directly by the international students.
Functional or Operational Structure
- The Board of ISA administers the seven departments of the ISA, one for each Vice President of the ISA.
- The VPs administer their departments completely independently and report to the Board. The board then reports to the Councils.
- Councils do not interfere in the operations of the departments.
